How Does Monetary Policy Influence Inflation And Employment

When discussing information that is important to the topic of Macroeconomics, it is easy to understand what are the key topics and elements that play a vital role in the functioning of economics. A few of those very important topics are inflation and employment. Both characteristics have a huge part in economics as a whole. The current article that I found regarding these two important parts of economics is the current FAQs article titled â€Å"How does monetary policy influence inflation and employment?† As the title clearly states, this article answers the question of how exactly the monetary policy influences inflation and employment. In the beginning of reading this article, I was not sure exactly what the monetary policy even was, so I started off by looking for the definition on Google. Google explains the monetary policy as being â€Å"the process by which the monetary authority of a country controls the supply of money, often targeting an inflation rate or interest ra te to ensure price stability and general trust in the currency† (Google Definition). After reading this definition, I understand what the monetary policy was a little more and could fully tackle the article.
